They gave me the option of contacting my eye doctor or they would be happy to call them for me. GECS called, processed my order and they were in my mailbox the next afternoon! I just started to wear contacts and this was the first time I ordered any. I had checked out other on-line options but was not sure what information they were asking for. When I got my Giant Eagle email about contacts I saved it and checked it out. For whatever reason I was able to understand and find the information that was being requested. The ordering process was very easy. After submitting my order, I emailed a copy of my RX. I got an email stating that they were waiting for my RX even though I had sent it. I think I should have gottena message shortly after that the order was complete and would ship soon. It did all work out that way but the communication about the completeness of the order was lacking. It arrived fast and the price was good. The fuel perks was a good incentive as well. I''m a GE employee and the only thing that would make this better would be an employee discount! Scott.

I was looking for a convenient, cost-effective way to order my contact lenses from a reliable company. As a life-long Giant Eagle shopper, and former Visura/Giant Eagle Optical patient, I felt comfortable giving this a try. My only recommendation would be to re-open the Optical centers in/near the grocery stores. I liked the convenience and the doctors / employees were always top-notch. It''s been very difficult to find a good local eye care provider since those locations closed. Though as far as reordering my contact lenses goes, I will be sure to use this service as long as it is available. Thanks!

I actually noticed in the weekly ad that Giant Eagle sold contact lenses, so I went to the website and after seeing how inexpensive they were, I ordered them. The next week I checked the ad and there was no mention of contact lenses. After telling a few friends I purchased my contacts from Giant Eagle they told me they didn''t realize you could buy contacts through them. Maybe if you advertised each week in the ad that contacts are available through Giant Eagle more people would be made aware of that fact.

This is the first time I reordered contacts. Since my prescription is already on file, I had trouble determining whether I still needed to re-submit a pdf of that prescription. I didn''t think it to be necessary but the ordering process seemed to force me to submit it again. It seems that reordering should be quick and easy but re-submitting the prescription made it more difficult. My only suggestion would be to eliminate the need to resubmit prescriptions that are still valid. Overall, the time it takes to process, ship and receive orders is so fast. I will always get my contacts through Giant Eagle.

We were very satisfied with the customer service on our order. We placed our order and was given a estimated time of delivery. After GE confirmed the prescription the time of delivery added 3 more business days onto the order. I called the 1800 number and explained that my husband was going out of town before the first arrival date was listed and wanted to know if I could add faster shipping. The representative told me that he thought we should get the contacts by the date I told him since we were close to the warehouse and to check back on Monday. The next day on Friday I got a notice that the contacts were being shipped and we had them by Monday, several days before we absolutely needed them!

It was not a problem, but I could not find my eye doctor in the list on the website. I just had to put my docotor''s name and phone number in. I feel it would be better to show all eye doctors. The price is great, free shipping and the easy of ordering. Big thumbs up from me..
